Research and development (R&D) activities are fundamental for the sustained development of a company and the provision of services that promote the satisfaction of customers’ needs and expectations.

The GLOMA® R&D department develops projects that are based on a sample or an idea, provided by an employee, a client, a supplier, etc.
Give us a challenge and we will begin a standardized process, made up of 6 distinct stages, with the aim of achieving results:
- Project Opening: Internal or External Need;
- Inputs for the Project: Essential requirements for the product and/or service to be the subject of R&D;
- Planning: Research, definition of actions, need for resources, responsibilities, expected deadlines and conjectured methodology;
- Production;
- Verification;
- Validation by the internal or external customer
The department’s activities contribute to:
- Ensure that the supply meets customer needs and expectations, whether implicit, explicit or even unknown;
- Determine the applicable requirements in advance and verify compliance in a timely manner, reducing the likelihood of problems occurring in later stages;
- Improve organizational performance and increase sustainability.
